WordPress/website developer and magazine theme designer

We are a media company that publish business to business magazines in print and online, and produce industry websites.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced WordPress and web developer who is passionate about delivering a first-class online business magazine 11 times a year.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the online magazine website and making it look professional and welcoming.

Key requirements for the role:
• Be extremely reliable
• Good knowledge of WordPress and website development and design
• An excellent command of the English language, written and spoken.
• Search Engine Optimisation
• Be able to manage the online subscription
• To post notices on social media
• Be able to work to Australian time frame
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Problem solving skills
• Must have a fully functioning Laptop or PC with reliable internet
• Able to design and develop ecommerce websites in future
• Having fun and enjoying what you do
• Familiariation with Google Analytics (if this is setup within the business)
• Optimise website copy to SEO best practice

Your duties will include
• Sourcing keywords from the uploaded articles
• Search Engine Optimisation
• Design and upload magazine articles to the magazine website
• Upload advertisements
• Link podcasts, you tube and webinars to the magazine website
• Generate subscriptions through SEO
• Plus, other related duties

All the articles, images, links and required information will be provided to upload to the online magazine website each month.
The position offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday Australian time and working with a small and highly motivated and creative team. This position could lead to 40 hours full time position for the right person.

Rate of pay on offer will start at $430 USD per month.
