Logistics Coordinator Essential Functions:

* Overseeing, coordinating, dispatching Eveready drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of all Straight Truck and Cargo Van shipments from vendors to consignee locations.

* Work as a team with other dispatch staff, customer service employees, and customers
* Promote driver safety and safe workplace performance
* Interfacing and updating computer trucking systems
* Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
* Build knowledge of knowledge of New Jersey- New York City area road geography and key shipping receiving locations, ie JFK Airport.

Logistics Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications
• 1+ years of work experience in a similar role; Dispatching Trucks/ drivers, pro-active tracking locations and ETA, updating customers, escalating potential problems.
• Significant work experience in track and trace, order entry, logistics coordinator/dispatcher or another supply chain similar role
• • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites, OUTLOOK is a must
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have high speed internet connection
• Must have desktop monitor computer and telephone headset or desktop phone (service is provided)
*Must have very good English skills, both oral and written
* Fielding Driver and Customer phone calls and emails
* Two Shifts available: 6am- 2pm and 12pm-8pm Eastern Time, possible over time
