JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a fun to work with motivate Ecommerce manager for two beauty & wellness brands.
We currently use Shopify as our central website platform.

The Ecommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the eCommerce activity of the company across different platforms. You will handle decision-making for the website, social media accounts, and online advertising. You will also be responsible for researching and developing new online marketing strategies and hiring and training the rest of the Ecommerce Team.

General duties will include website design, market research, budgeting, interviewing and training recruits, supervising the eCommerce division, and presenting project designs to upper management.

An ideal candidate is an organized, analytical person with strong technical skills. You will multitask effectively and problem-solve when needed, successfully manage a team of people, and delegate tasks based on skills. You must be creative, pragmatic, and eager to learn.
Ecommerce Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Website Design
The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for determining the format and features of the website to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed.
Research and Development
The Ecommerce Manager will keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. They will also research the company's core demographics and how to reach them best to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of its targeted ad buys.
Supervision, Hiring, and Training
The Ecommerce Manager will oversee the entire e-commerce division and divide up employees on tasks. They will also be responsible for interviewing, bringing their preferred candidates to upper management, and providing necessary training.
Financial Planning and Budgeting
You will have a set budget to work with. You will need to plan for e-marketing expenditures well in advance and develop a financial plan to maximize your resources.
Project Development and Presentation
The Ecommerce Manager will liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company's online presence and e-sales.
