Premium WordPress Plugin Developer

We’re seeking a qualified WordPress developer to enhance and convert a free plugin to freemium (free with 2 premium levels) and enhance and support the plugin on-going. The plugin pulls data from an external data source using an API for display on a client website using short codes. This role is 20 hours per week and requires some overlap with the U.S. Eastern time ---------- SIRED APPLICANT EXPERIENCE
- Experience creating premium WordPress plugins
- Experience with Elite Licenser to issue and manage plugin licenses ( ---------- )
- Experience with API's to extract and manipulate data from an external source
- Experience creating WordPress short codes to deploy plugin and display results or configuration details
- Experience passing parameters to the plugin via the website url
- Experience resolving coding conflicts with WordPress and other plugins
- Experience creating admin configuration to support the plugin, protecting settings based on license level

JOB DUTIES
- Review state of current plugin
- Add additional functions/features to existing plugin
- Add new functions/features
- Secure all functions/features with license
- Fix problems that may come up
- Meet a few times a week during U.S. Eastern time zone work hours to discuss progress and next steps
- Other tasks as requested
