Mission:
As a key member of the ThorTech team, the Technical Recruiter will work closely with the recruitment team and COO to grow both our internal technical teams as well as provide recruitment services to external clients. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and providing qualified candidates for various technical roles.

**Please note the working hours for this role are in EST**

Key Responsibilities:
-Write and post technical job descriptions
-Source potential candidates on various platforms including LinkedIn, GitHub, Indeed, etc
-Interview candidates to analyze applicant’s abilities combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
-Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
-Submit qualified candidates to both internal and external hiring managers
-Serve as primary point of contact for scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers
-Conduct research for new job requisitions and create interview scorecards with relevant technical questions to ensure high quality vetting
-Conduct research for continuous improvement of our sourcing and recruiting techniques
-Participate in market analysis for recruitment marketing or lead generation opportunities

Skills Required:
-Self motivated attitude with a proactive approach to their work
-5+ years experience as a Recruiter (Technical Recruiter experience preferred)
-Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Zoom, etc)
-Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
-Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
-Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting, Boolean searches, etc)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points:
-Experience sourcing on niche platforms like Github, StackOverflow, etc
-Hands on experience recruiting and interviewing for highly technical positions
-Experience with Bullhorn ATS
-Experience with development and implementation of recruitment marketing strategies
