Production Engineer

Job Overview

Voltech Instruments, the world leader in wound component test equipment, is looking for a Production Engineer with experience in managing a quality program to improve the long-term reliability of customer deliverables and the production pipeline. The projects will require development of robust solutions to challenging problems in product flow and design reliability throughout the life cycle of our products. Duties & Responsibilities

•Maintaining BOMs by implementing standardized BOM structure, adding all required parts, ensuring parts revisions and quantities etc, are correct and up to date
•Maintaining part numbers by ensuring lead time, price, min stock level, revisions, supplier information etc, are correct and up to date
•Creating and Maintaining Task Templates
•Maintain and update procedures and processes
•Maintain consistency between production process, documentation, and BOMs

Key Skills

•Possess strong communication skills
•Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continuously improve knowledge.
•Capable of working to deadlines and follow a planned schedule of work.
•Must be able to work independently
•IT literate
•Familiar with electronic components
•Experience working with BOMs

Desirable skills

•Create and maintain SQL enabled spreadsheets
•Experience with writing SQL queries and combining them with Excel spreadsheet
•Willing to work with subcontractors and suppliers
