Medical Biller Position

We are growing! I am (mostly) a one-woman show looking to hire a part-time person to help grow my business! I have wonderful clients that I help with their medical billing and practice management needs. I am looking for someone who is detail oriented, friendly and ready to learn! I need someone who has medical billing experience but even insurance experience would be a huge ---------- surances I work with included Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, Medical, Medicaid, United Healthcare and Healthnet. I mostly help optometrists so if you have experience with optometry or ophthalmology that is a huge plus! Hours and days are pretty flexible but prefer someone who can work some hours in my time zone and work 10-20 hours a week. Your daily tasks would include, but are not limited to:

Checking Eligibility on various payer websites
Posting payments received by insurances
