JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking to hire a part-time or full-time sales person with a technical background, great English written and spoken and with the ability to perform online demos and take calls on eastern time zone (US).

Your responsibility will be to present the company’s product in pre-scheduled demos, creating new opportunities from lists of prospects, working with the founder on the overall strategy to expand the business.

We aim to change how content publishers and startups approach the mobile app space. We’ve built a successful product helping digital publishers, ecommerce sites and startups create native apps with their content.

We are passionate about making mobile apps accessible to independent publishers and site owners and work to offer an amazing customer experience to anyone that signs up.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to convince and provide direction and specialist knowledge in WordPress (no development skills needed, but enough technical understanding to be able to answer questions about integrations and compatibility).

What you will do:
* Focus on growing new revenue from Digital Publishers, Ecommerce Sites and Startups
* Provide product and technical expertise in product presentations, demonstrations, demo implementations, and ongoing sales consultation
* Translate product features into benefits and value for the prospective customer
* Develop working knowledge of competing products, position our product vs alternatives
* Work collaboratively with the team to improve the assets we have and create new ones, in order to support sales
* Respond to initial information requests and discuss product and customer issues for with the rest of the team
* Follow up to drive leads through the pipeline through personal outreach and building relationships with prospective clients
* Generate new leads through prospecting, virtual networking e.g. Linkedin and cold calling.
* Make sales presentations to prospective customers, showcase our products and educate prospective clients on the value of our solutions for their business needs.
* Negotiate and address business issues, provide quotations, invoice the customer and close the sale
* Participate in weekly sales strategy & status meetings

The ideal candidate:
* High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, can work independently
* Extraordinary written communication skills, presentation skills, and technical capabilities; comfortable working with enterprise level customers
* Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of WordPress and mobile apps including plugin integrations, membership plugins, advertising integrations, customisations
* Strong customer facing and relationship building skills - you’re confident and can lead the conversation over the phone
* Has experience with WordPress, perhaps in an agency or plugin business context.
* Ability to learn new technologies

You’ll join a small team including the company founder, our Sales Manager, a Product Manager, a Marketing Manager, a Customer Success Manager, a WordPress Developer and five app developers. We’re a distributed team spread around the world.

We enjoy this way of working and the freedom it affords all of us. We collaborate mainly using Slack and video calls and simple tools like Trello.
