Need new front page for website

IECASA provides excellent accommodations to travelers visiting Manila. We need a fresh new front-page to promote these properties and provide new, creative functionalities in the future.

The system is currently using Joomla with multiple plugins. The initial need is for a new front-page that can either be a Joomla page or an independent PHP page.

Joomla knowledge is not necessary, we can re-use the existing templates or just use stand-alone PHP. Also, Let's provide more emphasis on function over form. As such, deep UI design elements are not necessary for this project. Let's keep it simple yet elegant. Still,
experiments are always welcome :)
