We are a boutique Internet Marketing and SEO agency in Melbourne, Australia.
We need an experienced professional to help us day to day with managing managing clients and delivering their required services.
You will primarily be working on our SEO projects, ensuring client projects are on schedule and you will be completing a lot of the technical tasks involved in those services.
We need someone organised who is already experienced in similar tasks, is able to work fast and autonomously.
Above all, we need someone who is flexible, willing to learn and who will work with us to achieve client outcomes.
Below is some of the experience we require:
Wordpress Experience:
Advanced Wordpress Experience is a must have. You will be working with Wordpress every day, from client sites to our network sites. You must be able to upload, install, configure, theme and style, and use Wordpress completely.
You also have to have an understanding of domains and hosting as you will often need to configure these before setting up sites.
Other tasks you will be doing and knowledge you will need are:
- Posting regular blogs to our client sites.
- Setup of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Business Pages and other services like Youtube Channels etc. as needed.
- Setup of Yahoo and Bing accounts and business listings.
- Set Up, Content Population, Styleing etc. of various Web 2.0 properties like tumblr
- Site and Content themeing, coming up with blog topics etc. appropriate to a particular niche.
- Understand and able to use tools like Majstic SEO, Moz Tools, Ahrefs etc.
Basic link research.
- Able to look at examples of competitors links and emulate them, documenting the process.
- Able to document processes – for instance you will be regularly trying new link techniques etc. that will need to be documented.
- Use of email marketing systems like Aweber and Mailchimp
- Use of drag and drop lead page builders like LeadPages and Unbounce.
- Setup of social accounts – Facebook, Twitter, Linked In etc.
- Be organised to keep projects on track.
- Use of software like Photoshop and basic design skills would be an advantage.
- Keeping client documents organised and general administrative duties.
- We manage our client projects using Trello so you need to be familiar with this, or able to learn fast.
- Willing and able to learn other software like Edraw and others that we use on an adhoc basis to do different tasks.
English Requirements:
We need someone with great English skills. You need to be able to communicate with us on a daily basis and occasionally our clients via email and Skype.
Occasionally you will need to write things like company descriptions etc. naturally and also small amounts of site content when needed.
You will need to be able to communicate well with our service providers to have content creates, and other items like press releases etc.
You will also need to be able to check content written by our regular writers before putting it into websites.
Also, you must be available on Skype during work hours and be prepared to have regular voice and video calls – no excuses – we need to keep close communication to ensure our clients get the best outcomes.
Hours:
We will be starting out on 20 hours per week while you learn our processes and then quickly moving to full time, 40 hours per week – please only apply if you are able to work with us full time.
When full time you need to be available 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday Melbourne time.
