Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience as a Construction Manager
A highest level English both written and verbal
Ability to quickly communicate on the phone with architects, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve the problem
Ability to handle pressure
Ability to handle multiple projects strategically
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards
Familiarity with construction/project management software
Good knowledge of MS Office
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
Willing to work the night shift or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST or onwards depends on the demand of your work
Responsibilities:
Perform a role in accordance with Cooper's behavioral framework
Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc., to determine the specifications of the project
Work as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe, and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Acquire equipment and material stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and give them guidance when needed
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Undertake production checking of work in progress to ensure that it meets project intent
