Instructional Designer

GoCreate Academy develop & deliver online courses & qualifications in creative arts (digital media & music). Due to expansion, we’re looking for a full-time (work-from-home) Instructional Designer to join us on our exciting journey.

Responsibilities for Instructional Designer:

Develop and edit online learning material and content
Assess learning needs
Analyse existing instructional material
Develop and design online material and assessment tools
Oversee implementation of online learning programs
Maintain currency in the field of online learning


Preferred qualifications/expertise:

Ideally a master's degree in educational technology or related field
3+ years of experience using course authoring tools
Proficiency with animation software (e.g. Vyond, Animaker), graphic design, Screenflow (or similar) Adobe suite (or similar) Captivate/Storyline (or similar)
Experience with High School teaching
Understanding of website design, video technology and editing
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of varied learning styles
Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods
