Scare Street Publishing is currently in need of a Part Time Graphic Designer!

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking to hire a talented and creative Graphic Designer to captivate our readers by designing horrific book covers for our paperback and eBook copies. This role would involve studying the design briefs, determining the requirements, and creating the book covers and other related materials.

You will be working closely with our Operations Lead and reporting to our CEO. Many of our tea ---------- mbers have been with us for many years and our ideal candidate is looking for a stable, long-term position where they can learn and apply new skills to see the immediate results of their hard work. DAILY AND WEEKLY TASKS
The average day and week will consist of a mixture of the following tasks:
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements/briefs
• Propose and design high quality horror covers with use of stock images
• Work with copywriters and Operations Lead to produce final design
• Amend designs after feedback

WORKING TIME ZONE
10am GMT +8 onward (same as PH time)

COMPENSATION
Compensation ranges from $4-7 per hour and is heavily dependent on experience.

• Fluent or Native English speaker (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail, creative, and quality of work
• High level of organization and ability to prioritize
• Ability to clearly follow instructions (whether written or recorded)
• Hard working, self-directed problem solver and quick learner with a positive attitude
• High standard of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
• 2+ years of experience working remotely
• Prior publishing experience in book cover design is a plus
