Are you able to do some fantastic internet research and write compelling emails? If you've ever pitched someone to be on a podcast or landed some media attention for someone then this could be for you!

We are Book Launchers - a full service self-publishing company. We help authors write, publish and promote non-fiction books. Part of our service is researching outlets who will feature our authors on their podcasts, newsletters, livestreams, and media. We need more support with the research and pitching of our clients. The strategy of the book launches will be driven by the team but the actual person we need to help will:

1. Craft compelling pitches that land new media opportunities to feature a client’s book or client as an expert.
2. Identity and pitch targeted media outlets that will bring our client’s books to audiences that must know about them.
3. Strategize with the marketing team on each client to come up with new pitch angles relevant news pegs and creative, out-of-the-box ideas of new outlets, partnerships, and audiences to approach on behalf of the author or book.
4. Be able to hit pitch quota per client per month - without using any mass pitching service. We do targeted personalized pitching.
5. Undertake extensive research for new media contacts in print, blogs, podcasts, tv broadcast, radio broadcast, webinars, and conferences via media search engines.
6. Create pitch reports for each client of outlets pitched per month to demonstrate objectives and deliverables reached.
7. Work with media coordinator to book client on each media win, including scheduling and ensuring interviews take place, gathering links of live interviews afterwards for promotion.
