POSITION SUMMARY

This position requires solid communications skills, and strong troubleshooting skills as issues are escalated in nature, Patience and the ability to ask the right questions that uncover details critical to the resolution of issues is required. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, consistent and confident. This role requires an advanced understanding of servers, networking and infrastructure setups. The ideal candidate has the ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to Level 1 and 2 technicians as needed.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Resolve Level II and Level III Escalated Network issues – Major Site Issues / Work Stoppage/ Emergencies
Assist Level I and Level II team with issues not resolved within 1 hour
Train Level I and Level II tea ---------- mbers on area where improvement is needed
Increase Help Desk efficiencies and help improve KPIs
Maintain communication with Customer/Vendor/Management during the problem resolution process
Properly document issues and resolutions in our ticketing system


IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION, YOU NEED THE FOLLOWING SKILLSET:

5+ years of work experience providing IT technical support
Proficiency with all current Windows operating systems mandatory, Apple desirable
Strong understanding of network concepts such as routing and VLAN’s
Active Directory experience
Microsoft Office 365 experience
Server ---------- experience
Sonicwall experience
Advanced TCP/IP skillset
Mobile Device experience
VMware experience desired
CompTIA A+ and Network+ will be required within six months of hire. Microsoft, Apple, SonicWall, Cisco, and other IT vendor certifications desirable.
