We’re a small, fun company that operates in the hospitality space. We’re looking to bring on our newest team member to join our crew of 5 superstars. Since we’re small, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and pitching in where needed to get stuff done. We try not to overdo it though...
We love being in hospitality and serving our guests. While the majority of our guests are simply wonderful, the occasional few leave something to be desired. That’s where patience comes in. We’re looking for that rare breed of a person who is always able to be pleasant and of service without being a pushover. Some guests will definitely test your patience, so you need to be confident, assertive, and diplomatic in how you communicate. Our team is great at that, whether they’re talking with our guests and vendors on the phone or by
The other side of this job is the backend where you’d be interfacing with our vendors and partners. These are the professionals who make our business shine—from the cleaning companies we work with to the laundry service we use. There’s a lot that usually needs to be done simultaneously, so time management and initiative definitely need to be among your strong points. Without those two things, honestly, you won’t do well in this role. You’ll be handling guest communications, scheduling with vendors, and taking care of basically anything that impacts the guest experience. At the end of the day, you’ll need to make sure that there are no loose ends hanging and everyone is kept in the loop. That means it’s a huge plus if you’re the kind who’s always thinking 10 steps ahead!
At our company, we’re like a tight-knit family. We’re looking for someone who will fit right in with us. That means we’re looking at you if you’re the kind of person who says what they mean and means what they say. We’re not into fakers at all. And we’re not afraid to call each other out when someone isn’t pulling their weight, though that doesn’t happen much.
We love what we do. We like to laugh and have fun, and we get stuff done. We work hard and get big results that blow people’s minds.
Finally, there’s no office—we all work from home and so would you. You’ll be using lots of tech tools at work, so it’s important that you’re comfortable and savvy with technology. You’ll have freedom and flexibility with your schedule. Of course, you do need to show up when you’re supposed to be there. We’re definitely not looking for someone who thinks working remotely is a free pass to slack
