Finance Specialist

Responsibilities
Develop financial and investment models, taking legal limitations into consideration. DCF modeling ---------- itiate Payments and monitor A/R and A/P.
Work with bookkeeping to ensure books are closed each month.
Conduct cost and benchmarking analyses
Prepare financial and cash flow forecasts, and institute scenario-based planning to deal with financial contingencies
Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans, including cost controls
Maintain up-to-date financials and relevant KPIs for investors; liaise with loan and equity providers
Discuss and settle billing disputes with clients
Help analyze investment opportunities
Liaise with product management on instituting features for automated customer and internal tools related to finance and accounting
Ensure all tax related work is done each quarter and month; work with onboarding specialist to set up each new hire properly

Requirements
Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or relevant role
Facility with Excel (and Google Sheets) a must
Previous work developing DCF models
Previous work with managerial accounting and forecasting models
Understanding of financial and accounting principles
Full time work ability (35 hours / week) and overlap with US time zones a must
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
