Job Description

We are looking to add a Front-End Coder/Programmer & talented, creative and knowledgeable UX/UI we designer who is capable of producing user-centric, stunning web and mobile interfaces. The ideal candidate will have the chance to work with a great team of professionals, in a fun, working environment.

The ideal candidate should be motivated to combine the art of programming with the art of design. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to translating UI/UX design wireframes, to actual ‘codes’ that will produce visual elements of the application/program. We expect you to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop new user-interface according to client’s needs
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• In general, your responsibility is to be able to understand the client’s web concept, and be able to convert that into highly usable, appealing web and/or mobile interface
• Engage with the customer and/or the business development team to seek a deeper appreciation of the project, as well as the common problems and goals
• Present designs or mock-ups for review, iteration and approval
• Must be capable of working directly with clients in an agile manner to dramatically improve prototypes within a short time-frame
• Capable of gauging the prototype’s technical feasibility
• Collaborate with other team members, including business partners
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the management

Skills And Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must be in sync with recent web design standards and trends
• Has a proficient understanding of web markup, CSS3 and HTML5 included
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS
• Exceptional understanding and experience in HTML5, Angular JS, CSS and Boot Strap
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• The ideal candidate must be in sync with recent coding trends
• Knowledge in NetSuite or any ERP is a great advantage
• Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography
• Solid portfolio demonstrating design savvy
• Has a solid understanding of the limitations of mobile and web, alongside ideas to flex those boundaries
• Must have an in-depth and conceptual understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process

• Ability to travel sometimes in the Asian region is a plus
• Can work close to Singapore Time Zone
