Web and Graphic Designer

Innovative US-Based Digital Media Agency needs a Web and Graphic Designer
A must:
- Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator proficiency and access to the applications
- Provide link to your portfolio showing examples of both web design and graphic design and list the wordpress themes that
you have worked with.

A plus:
- Knowledge and have worked with Avada WordPress theme

Web Design skillsets needed:
• WordPress design expert level
• Avada WordPress theme proficiency (we exclusively use this theme)
• Taking a key role in the design and layout of a website
• Creating Photoshop Design Files (PSDs) for visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS
• Working with other teams to meet company-wide targets
• Using web content management systems (WordPress)
• Implementing and maintaining high quality SEO policies and incorporating them with web content and images
• An understanding of the key principles of branding
• Knowledge of typography
• An understanding of color theory
• Knowledge of user experience best practices
• Reporting to senior management
• Collecting and analyzing data on website usage to improve performance
• Responding to reports of technical problems and working with the team to fix them quickly
• Liaising with Copywriters, Graphic Designers and Developers to ensure that tasks are completed on time
• A flexible approach and a willingness to accept feedback and incorporate it into their designs
• Graphic design a plus knowledge a plus (Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator): ability to create properly sized images for web
pages as needed and create custom icons

Graphic Design skillsets needed:
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics showcasing skills
• Mastery of design software and technologies (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Proficiency in latest versions of Adobe Photoshop (CC) and Illustrator (CC)
• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Creating images and layouts by hand and/or using design software
• Brochure design, logo design, Infographic design; creating graphics for web design
• Color coordination of graphic designs with branding colors and web design concepts to work cohesively
• Testing graphics across various media (proper sizing)
