Wordpress/WooCommerce Developer/Designer

We Have an existing website in WooCommerce.

*Please note* we have already developed it in the WooCommerce site that needs to be maintained and improved upon. It doesn’t live to the public As it needs more UI Polishing.

As the primary web developer of the site, you must have experience and be able to work independently with WordPress and the WooCommerce suite of plugins, cPanel, phpMyAdmin, MySQL.

The potential for a part-time position after a Full-Time position will be considered.

Work will consist of:
- Proficient in Writing HTML/CSS.
- Refactoring and optimization of existing WooCommerce Site.
- Regular website maintenance (including bug fixing, updating plugins, etc.)
- Designing custom/new website features based on requirements and specifications
- Testing and QA of website functionality
- Experience with responsive design without dependence on frameworks.
- Knowledge of usability/user experience design is a plus.
- Strong experience with custom WordPress theme development, including accommodating full user editability, complex layouts, and plugins that require theme customization
- Experience creating custom themes for use with WooCommerce and Customizing Existing Themes.
- An understanding of programming security best practices
- Familiarity with issues in web design & development and accessibility is a plus
- Familiarity with using git for source control is a plus
