Content Manager - Full Time

We are a Digital Media Publishing Company looking for a Content Manager with extensive experience in different style of writing and editing. The candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

The role’s primary responsibility is to Control and Improve the quality of the content production of our Writer’s Team.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled and detail-oriented person who is able to meticulously proofread and edit high-quality written content on various topics with regard not only to grammar.

We're looking for:
- A creative thinker who’s also organized
- A strategic thinker who has a deep understanding of a Content Production Team's needs.
- Detail-oriented, both editorially and on the operational backend.

The Role's Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Control and Improve the quality of the content production of our Writer’s Team.
- Helping with the hiring process of new writers.
- Train writers and produce SOP/ Template for them.
- Perform content operations, including content approval/publication, SEO on page Optimization.
- Constantly identify areas of improvement on the blogs and work with various teams to implement updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the entire company, from copyediting to SEO (keyword research team) and other teams, to source, publish and promote new content.

- Proofreading and editing written content for various media (e.g. blog posts, website content, etc.) with readers' and clients' needs in mind
- Utilize SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach when given as a task
- Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-check information;
- Proven experience as an editor/proofreader (in English) for a publication or an agency
- Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter or a related role;
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English;
- Ability to diligently follow deadlines;

General notes:
This is a telecommute / remote position. You will need fast Internet access and a computer, along with audio/video capability on your computer.

Smart Digital Asset is based in Italy – although we are an entirely virtual company with staff in over 10 different countries.

This is a full-time position.
