Logistics Coordinator / Dispatch

Our company, Fulger Transport Inc., is a local Canadian trucking company that specializes in the transportation of perishable cargo and general freight. The company began its journey in 2004 when Radu Bogdanel was only twenty-four years old.

Dispatcher Essential Functions:

* Overseeing, coordinating, dispatching FULGER drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of all truckload shipments from vendors to consignee locations.
* Assist with and enforce driver electronic log compliance to HOS regulations and company policy
* Work as a team with other dispatch staff, customer service employees, and customers
* Promote driver safety and safe workplace performance
* Interfacing and updating computer trucking systems
* Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment

Requirements:

* Fielding Driver and Customer phone calls and emails
* Shift: Days and Afternoons
* Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word/Excel)
* Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
* Be a creative, problem solver
* Strong written and verbal skills
