Accountant

We are an established e-commerce company looking for an outstanding full-time accountant who has experience working with e-commerce companies.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of proven experience as an accountant
- Must have knowledge and experience using QUICKBOOKS ONLINE. Knowledge in A2x is a plus
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and audit/control procedures
- Have experience working with E-commerce businesses (preferably Shopify)
- Knowledge of productivity suite (google suite, Clickup, Slack)
- Fluent in English
- Ability to produce accurate, timely, and useful reports
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proactive communication
- Has excellent critical thinking and is a great problem solver

- Must have your own laptop/computer and internet connection

TASKS INCLUDE:
- Internally audit all vendor invoices for accuracy
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any issues
- Monitor expenses and inventory costs/turnover
- Creating P&L reports monthly, cash flow reports weekly, forecasts, profit analysis, and balance sheet
- Ad hoc analysis as needed
- Work with multiple currencies & multiple payment processors
- Improvements to processes and procedures
- Other Accounting functions such as account receivables, account payable, credit card, payroll processing and bank reconciliation
