BIG PICTURE:

We're looking for an ambitious and driven script writer to help us develop stories for our animated show.The perfect candidate will be excited about writing, and is a creative thinker and have a good sense of humor. Stories should have real stakes, recognizable worlds, unique and relatable people, and powerful emotions. Writers should be able to pitch new and creative ideas ideas. They are also responsible for breaking stories and writing outlines and drafts of scripts. This person must be a high-functioning collaborator who is able to work with writers in close proximity and can commit to a long-term, peak production schedule that is adjusted to the needs of the show. Writers' duties include attending online script-breakdown meetings, polishing script, pitching new stories to the show's head writer.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

Develop ideas that are relatable and teach valuable lessons to our community
Collaborate with production team to make sure scripts have a strong moral, resonate with our target audience
Analyze the performance of videos and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve scripts
Come up with 5-10 new ideas a week and write 2-4 scripts each week that are around 2000 words long
WHAT YOU HAVE:

A minimum of 2 years experience with script writing short scripts
Ability to write for all audiences, including younger age range
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong writing talent, as well as creativity, patience, self-motivation, and an understanding of the film-making process
Possess the ability to work and collaborate with others
WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

Our writer will work remotely from home and will be required to utilize the Studios time tracking software to log and submit work hours

All of the Studios' new hires will begin at the associate level, regardless of what position was applied for. This approach doesn’t affect any aspect of pay: you will still get compensated during your Discovery Period according to the position you are applying for and within the rate listed for this position. Our organization looks to hire the BEST of the best and we focus on finding candidates who are a strong cultural fit. We have a 3 month 'Discovery Period' in place that allows us to get to know each new hire better and assess their skill set. Management-level roles will be part of a different Discovery Period for each step of the ladder (but again this does not affect your pay or compensation package).
