JOB OVERVIEW

Important: This role requires prior Amazon account management experience. Please do not apply if you don't have extensive prior experience.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized, and digital-obsessed Amazon mastermind to plan and oversee that channel. Our current sales on Amazon are around 5mm per year, and we're dedicated to growing that. We're willing to commit financial resources to that goal and need the right person to oversee it.

The Amazon Marketplace Specialist (AMS) position is a newly created position that reports directly to the COO. This is a remote role, so impeccable communication and digital organization are critical.

We're looking for someone who:

• Understands what makes a PERFECT Amazon product listing and can track that improvement over time. Whether it’s running an A/B test on a main image or it’s giving our graphic designer specific instructions on designing new A+ content, you’ll need to take action to improve sales in an analytical and repeatable manner.

• Has successfully launched new products on Amazon and have an arsenal of strategies in their toolbox. Be able to understand what goes into launch prep and being able to track metrics and report results.

• Lives and breathes Amazon. We will provide you access to Amazon sellers groups we’re members off for you to stay on top of what the current best practices are as things are constantly changing. Continued education and passion is key in this role.

• Is able to track and analyze data. We already have a suite of Amazon tools that you have at your disposal. Track and improve keyword rank, sales, reviews, etc.

• Understands that the details are important. You’ll need to audit our product catalog and make strategic changes to ensure our brand is consistent across ASINs and also optimized properly to maximize sales and conversion rates.

• You need to like working with spreadsheets (Excel and/or Google Sheets). You will be crunching data and updating products using Amazon’s inventory file upload sheets.

• Loves tweaking sponsored campaigns to optimize for growth or profit, and understands what the goals are for each individual product.

• Is relentless when it comes to monitoring, addressing, and improving overall Account Health metrics. Whether it's communicating with our inventory manager, rest of the marketing team, writing a Plan of Action to get an ASIN reinstate, you need to know how to keep us running smoothly on Amazon. Sometimes that means emailing Amazon Seller Support or picking up the phone and not giving up until you get someone on the Catalog Team to fix our issue.
