Animator / Illustrator/ Motion Graphics Designer

The Comfy Place is a growing company that values creativity and engaging content across multiple platforms. We are looking for a skilled Animator/Illustrator to help create high-quality animations and illustrations for our YouTube channel, social media, and children's books. While some content will focus on mental health topics, we are also looking for a versatile animator who can work on a range of projects. Role Responsibilities:
- YouTube Animations: Create engaging animations, including whiteboard-style and explainer videos, for our YouTube channel, covering various topics.
- Children's Book Illustrations: Design and illustrate characters and scenes for children's books, focusing on creating visually appealing and imaginative content.
- 2D/3D Animation: Develop both 2D and 3D animations for our videos, bringing creative concepts to life in an engaging way.
- Explainer Videos: Create explainer videos to simplify complex topics and ideas, including some that address mental health themes.
- Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with our team to develop storyboards and visual concepts for a variety of projects, ensuring all content aligns with our brand's vision.
- Content Development: Produce high-quality animation content that resonates with our audience across different platforms, including social media and YouTube.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In:
- Creating whiteboard animations, explainer videos, and storytelling through motion graphics.
- Developing animations for YouTube or similar platforms.
- Illustrating characters and concepts for children's books.
- Producing both 2D and 3D animations.
- Using tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Storyboarding and bringing creative concepts to life.
- Managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other animation tools.
- Strong understanding of character design, motion graphics, and storytelling techniques.
- Experience in 2D and 3D animation.
- Ability to create whiteboard-style and explainer videos.
- A creative, proactive individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to growth.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Experience working with digital art, video editing, and animation for YouTube or social media.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media algorithms is a plus.
