ActiveCampaign Specialist (Marketing Automation VA

Remote – Overseas | full time position

Sunbelt Inspections, a fast-growing home inspection company based in Houston, Texas (USA), is looking for an experienced Active Campaign Specialist to help us rebuild and optimize our marketing automation system.

Our current management team is transitioning out, and we need someone who can take the lead in setting up a new Active Campaign account, migrating existing workflows, and ensuring everything is properly organized and running smoothly. You will receive full access to our current setup, and leadership will provide direction and support throughout the project.

This is a priority project for our company, and there is a strong likelihood of ongoing work after the initial contract if we find the right fit.

Main Responsibilities

Set up and configure a new ActiveCampaign account for our organization.

Transfer, rebuild, and improve existing automations from the old account (you will have access to all workflows).

Organize and structure automations for:

New client onboarding

Communications with realtors and title companies

CE class marketing

Automated text messages, emails, and reminders

Test all automations and ensure they function correctly.

Maintain contact lists, tagging structure, and basic CRM pipelines.

Provide documentation and weekly progress updates to company leadership.

Requirements

Proven experience working with Active Campaign (setup, migration, automation building).

Strong understanding of email and SMS automation, tagging, segmentation, and CRM logic.

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow established processes.

Reliable internet connection and ability to attend occasional calls during partial U.S. business hours.

Bonus: Experience with home services, real estate, or similar industries.

Compensation & Details

Contract position: $6–$10 USD per hour, depending on experience.

20–40 hours per week, flexible schedule.

Work directly with company leadership.

Strong opportunity for continuing long-term automation and CRM work after the initial project.
