DevOps Engineer

At Claritecs, we power maritime insights using data and technology, and help maritime companies automate operations and optimise their fleet and assets. Our ideal team member will have strong experience in both full stack development and DevOps, though the focus on the role will be more heavily on DevOps.

We will rely on you to manage our networks, security/firewalls, servers/serverless services and rds/databases. Aside from managing and maintaining our infrastructure, you will also be given standard tasks related to the development of our web applications.

Job scope
- Collaborate with product design and engineering to develop an understanding of needs
- Manage existing infrastructure, networks, and security
- Research, recommend and implement best services and configurations to use for our applications
- Manage CI/CD pipeline
- Work with the rest of the development team to develop our applications for the global maritime industry
- Keep current with technical and industry developments

Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- 6 years' experience in development, with at least 3 years in DevOps role
- Proficiency with AWS solutions, servers and services, CI/CD, Docker
- Proficiency in LAMP stack
- Proficiency in Laravel framework
- Experience with VueJS and Typescript will be a plus
- Driven with a strong sense of self-initiative
