JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary:

You’ll be joining a small, fast-paced team working on building a unique software platform product that allows startup business run all aspects of their organization. You’ll be responsible for assisting in building the front-end UI for our applications, as well as building custom applications for internal use.

Responsibilities:

* Creation and maintenance of site layouts and user interfaces using HTML and CSS best-practices
* Creation of mobile-friendly web content using responsive web design principles
* Integration with back-end APIs using asynchronous HTTP calls
* Writing and maintaining JavaScript to create front-end behaviors
* Working as part of an AGILE development team
* Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
* Create and update technical documentation using UML best practices, as well as communicate with product stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and specifications

Experience Required:

* Ability to write standards-based and semantically correct HTML5 and CSS3
* Ability to use JavaScript to create front-end behaviors
* Strong focus on front-end design and modern web practices
* Ability to create responsive web content for mobile devices
* 1+ years development experience

Working Knowledge of the following development skills is required:

* HTML5
* CSS3 – including using media queries for responsive design
* JavaScript - JQuery framework
* Working experience with Angular UI
* An understanding of the MVC design pattern
* Familiarity with Microsoft-stack technologies such as IIS 8, ASP.NET MVC.
* Familiarity with MS SQL Server querying and stored procedure programming experience and SSIS
* Familiarity with Microsoft-stack development tools such as Visual Studio

Preferred, but not required skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* An understanding of CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SCSS
* Familiarity of the Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework
* Familiarity with the MEAN Stack with emphasis on AngularJS framework
* An understanding of AGILE development processes
* Familiarity with source control systems GIT and Team Foundation Server
