JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a developer to build a basketball-related website.

I have started the code using my 2 years knowledge of Java EE from my previous employer; but since my current job no longer deals with web development,
I feel my limited knowledge on the latest web tools will prevent me from realizing the optimized, responsive, and industry-ready website I envision.

I need a developer to continue the back end development, and build the basic web pages. What's important to me is the page functionality, and to use all the appropriate tools
needed for the page requirement. Design and aesthetics come later.

The website resembles a portal:

1.) User login
> User roles
> Remember me
> Change password
2.) Admin pages (to maintain site content)
3.) Multiple data-driven pages
4.) Search pages (that point to a specific data-driven page)

I apologize for being very vague, I do not want to write the whole idea here. But basically less static pages, more data driven.

Again, I've written most of the servlets and web pages, and I have the schema for the major tables and views mapped to hibernate already. I am just
uncertain if my current knowledge is sufficient to build the site that I want, that's why I am looking for more experienced developers.

NEEDS:
1.) Page responsiveness
- Data driven pages should be fast/Facebook-level.
- AJAX?

2.) User added content
- Similar to the comments and wall posts of Facebook.
- Once entered, integrates smoothly in the page with no refresh.

3.) Shareable pages
- Pages can be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Web design skills are not a requirement (but a plus), I already have a friend in mind who can handle that and the hosting effort.

BUDGET:
Given the expertise and amount of pages I will require, I would figure 70-100k might be a fair place to start. But again, I can help in the coding effort with a little
guidance.

CONDITIONS:
I heavily prefer developers I can meet and talk to personally.

Thank you for your time!
