Video Editor(s) to join team

Our digital marketing agency helps publish high quality on brand videos each and every month for our clients. We are looking for Creative Video Editor(s) to join our team (No Freelancers!) This is an opportunity for creative video editor(s) to be part of a growing team that can make a real impact in the ---------- itially, this will be a part time role (< 20hrs/wk), with potential to go full-time within 3mths for the right person(s).

The style of video content being edited will be talking head videos, vlogs, interviews, course videos & advertisements. You will be responsible for editing & repurposing video content to publish on YouTube and other social platforms (in a variety of formats).

To be considered for this specific role, we expect candidates to take care in their application. We do not want to see a cut & paste resume or portfolio that you have sent to hundreds of other job posts. That will NOT get you an interview.

We want to see you put together 1-2 examples of your video editing work that can demonstrate your ability to achieve a similar style format: ----------

In addition to this, we want to see 1-2 examples of how you have repurposed long form video content to publish in various video formats to suit different social media platforms (showcase different video formats). At least one example should include an example of this video format: ---------- .

SALARY: We will be looking at your profile's salary expectations (so make sure it is updated and accurate) AND include your salary expectations in the SUBJECT line (for F/T hours - 40hrs/wk)...we will pro rata for part time hours.

You must be FLUENT in english and start your application with the word - Detail - in the subject line to be considered.

We use Adobe Premiere Pro for our main editing and After Effects for lower thirds and templates, so you MUST be proficient in both of these video editing softwares.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of video editing experience
- must be proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
- understand of simple colour correcting and grading
- able to make motion graphics and animations
- aware of current trending editing styles
- capable of editing audio and making voice clear with background music
- able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- shows impressive attention to detail
- able to create strategically exciting thumbnails
- high internet speeds (and backup)
- ability to work fast
- strong communication skills

If you make it through the initial interview stages and all goes well, you will be assigned a paid work trial with a video to edit as final part of the interview process. The video needs to highlight your skillset and ability to achieve the desired formats shown.
