I'm looking for a positive, enthusiastic, multi-skilled, fast learning, and highly motivated Virtual Assistant to help me manage my social media, newsletters, blog posts, follow-ups, email scheduling, research, data entry and help me stay on top of all of my obligations to run a successful business.
For the assistant who fits best, I would like a dedicated, long-term professional relationship and by long term I mean years. I can assure the assistant will be respected, appreciated, and recognized for their work. I consider this assistant to be an extension of the team and will treat them as such.
Your qualifications:
• You will be honest & hardworking with acute attention to detail
• You will take pride in your work and work to the best of your ability and seek to go that extra mile
• You will have excellent time management skills and be a problem solver.
• You are able to stick to deadlines
• You have the a willingness to try new things and the desire to learn new online tools that we use for e-newletters, updating our website, scheduling blogs and social media, and creating basic reports. (Training & Guidance provided)
• You will have a solid understanding of the internet and social networking and be social media savvy
• You will have the ability to grasp how social media activity alights with business goals
• You will be confident communicator using the English language and comfortable with talking on google hangouts and via email
• You will feel comfortable working within Google Drive (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, google hangouts, Streak, etc.)
• You must be available by phone, text, email and Skype/Google Hangouts
• You will have previous experience as an administrative assistant (preferred)
• You will have a reliable, fast Internet connection
• You will have a complete OnlineJobs profile, references or an established reputation on OnlineJobs preferred
I am looking for someone who can work a full 8 hour day. Please contact me immediately. I only want you to work for me, no other jobs.
Trial period:
We will start off with a week trial period. If it proves to be a good match then we will transition over the next 2 weeks to get up to speed and become familiar with the systems. After that time if it's a good fit we you will come on full time.
Your responsibilities include:
- posting on Social Media
- Data analysis/entry into Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets or other programs
- Youtube post descriptions
- Document creation and formatting, including reports and an email newsletter
- Research using the Internet or other information databases
- Email management
- Wordpress
- Organize e-mail
- Instagram posts (training provided)
- Pinterest account (training provided)
- FB Like page (training provided)
- Designing social media graphics using Canva
- Blog and social media post scheduling
- Other miscellaneous tasks that can be performed online
- Must be accessible and online during agreed-upon office hours
To ensure you do your job well I will provide you with all the resources you need such as:
• Clear written instructions and/or videos which detail exactly what I want you to do and a clear framework to operate within.
• Where required I will provide you with additional advanced training which supports your position giving you the additional benefit of getting educated and increasing your knowledge at the same time.
• Wordpress Editing and Author rights in websites being worked on.
• Access to online accounts where required ( Canva, Google etc)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE FOR YOURSELF…
In addition to the tools and resources we will provide to you, you will be required to have some basic tools and resources yourself to complete this work and these include:
• Access to the internet
• Good working computer
• Google + accounts
• MS Office software (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Publisher)
