Writer and Researcher

Hey there! We're Moonship, a venture backed social ecommerce company based in San Francisco, CA in the US but working with a completely remote team. We're looking for a person to help out with researching and writing deeply personalized messaging and outreach for sales. We're not doing typical sales and you don't need to have a sales background - but what we're looking for people who have a very strong English writing and topical research background.

We deeply believe that the future of ecommerce is social, yet modern platforms focus on the 'single-player' experience. We build a social group buying referral app that completely reimagines how referrals should work - allowing people to share products/shops with their friends and get discounts in return. **Who are we?**

We’re a small team of ex-Facebook, ex-Google, ex-Groupon, and ex-Esports engineers, designers, and PMs. Our team:
- ---------- Facebook's search engine, built Facebook's adtech and ecommerce ad products and grew them to $2BN+, and worked on Facebook’s ecommerce, mobile, youth, and growth products
- launched and grew Groupon in China
- designed and built one of the premier Esports tournament platforms used by Nintendo, Blizzard, and more
- founded and sold a healthcare tech company to reduce readmissions from heart attacks and heart failure

We're a venture backed company with incredible investors including Accel, Max Levchin/Scifi (founder of Paypal/Yelp/Affirm), Jeff Katzenberg /Wndrco (founder of Dreamworks), YC partners, and former executives from Livingsocial, Facebook, and Twitter.

- You’re looking for a full time position - we’re aiming to move fast and will need all of your time. Our expectation is that you work with us 40 hours per week - and there are opportunities to do more, should you be interested in ---------- additional commitments or jobs other than this one please.

We’re some of the best technologists, designers, engineers, and product folks from the top companies in the US, and we’re hoping to grow a person and eventually a team in the Philippines.
