Project Estimator

We are a small home improvements company, but growing. We carry out home improvements projects out for customers around the North West of the UK. We are a small friendly team.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for a dedicated individual who has a very good attention to detail to help create estimates / quotes for our retail customers. We require a quick turnaround on our quotations so speed, but also accuracy is important.

Task Will Include;

Creating estimates / costings for customer quote
• Liaising with site surveyors via to gather site survey notes – email/SMS only
• Requesting material prices from suppliers – email/SMS only
• Costing a project using a spreadsheet
• Creating a quotation document to email to the customer using established templates.
• Keep customer relationship management (CRM) platform up-to-date with notes/documents etc.
• Create quotation documents for customers using an established template
• Using an industry specific software to create simple 3D drawings (full training provided)

Follow Up
• Email/SMS follow up for quotes already sent – templates provided.

Skills & experience required;
• Attention to detail
• Ability to interpret surveyor drawings
• Good written communication for emails
• Good at written communication, for emails.
• Estimation/costing experience
• Basic MS Excel experience

Hours
• 40 hours
• Can work hours to suit as long as some of the hours have cross over with UK office hours.
