The Opportunity


The SEM Specialist will support our Search Marketing function within our Digital Performance team.

Reporting to the Digital Performance Manager - SEM, you will contribute to the growth and development of Greenstone's new business performance through the optimisation of leads and conversions via paid search channels (Google, Bing, Retargeting platforms).

In addition, you will problem solve, drive market insights and play an integral part in our advanced experimentation strategies within our supportive and productive work environment.

The successful person will have a broad appreciation of the digital landscape, an appreciation of new digital marketing technology, show a real drive to learn and collaborate with people to maximise channels performance and return on ad spend.

This role would suit someone who has 2 plus years working within a Performance Marketing function, ideally with an understanding of the financial sector.



What are we looking for?

• Google Certified
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or relevant work experience
• 2-4 years demonstrated experience in a comparable role
• Solid understanding of Search advertising (Google & Bing), proficient in using editor and campaign planning tools
• Proficient with SEM best practices and preferably Google Ads & Microsoft Ads certified
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Inc. presentation skills)
• Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to brand business objectives
• High attention to detail around creative and QA reviews
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritise and structure workload
• Proactive, assertive and a good team-player
• Demonstrates a passion learn and grow within the digital marketing space, and new developments in this area
• Creative strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach where collaboration is key
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients or stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to confidently build relationships and present and report to clients

Desirable
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Experience in display, video, affiliate, social and email marketing would be beneficial
• JIRA or similar project / task management software
