We're looking for an amazing virtual assistant with heaps of experience to help out our small team with our ecommerce websites and blog.
Our VA will mostly be working with the boss (that's me!) but will also have to be able to work with the rest of our team based in Melbourne, Australia and our other Philippines based VA’s.
The person we're looking for is going to be the best in the world at internet research (I always have lots of ideas on the go!), and will be able to put the research together in a Word or Excel document.
I’m usually doing lots of different things at once, so I’m looking for someone:
• who likes to do lots of different tasks;
• who will ask questions when they need to;
• and who will remind me if I’ve forgotten to do something!
We have lots of fun around here, so it’s important that we find someone who has a great sense of humour, who’s enthusiastic and loves meeting challenges.
We'll be working through Skype, email and online project management software.
It's important that you have worked as a virtual assistant before. We'll train you on specific tasks, but we really need someone who is ready to get started immediately.
Specifically, I want someone who can help out with:
• Product descriptions – I need someone who can rewrite product descriptions so that they’re unique. We have a checklist of what information is required so you’ll know what to write. You’ll also need to be experienced at with SEO, writing page titles and meta descriptions.
• Research – I write a lot of the blogs posts, and I need someone who is experienced at finding information on the internet.
• Writing/blogging – you will also be required to write some blogs on our products and brands.
• SEO – must have experience at doing keyword research.
• Graphics experience – basic ability and access to photoshop would be useful, experience in Canva is also okay. We need someone to create basic banners for our newsletter and blogs, and also images for facebook and pinterest.
You’ll need to be familiar with:
• Mailchimp – loading images and links for our weekly newsletter
• Wordpress – adding new blogs, reformatting old ones, uploading banners.
• Social media – posting to facebook, pinterest, google + and twitter
You’ll also be working on our ecommerce software, loading new products, images, checking prices, researching competitors. We’ll provide full training on this.
It would be great if you're familiar with Google analytics and webmaster tools, but it's not necessary.
We use asana for project management, skype to chat, hubstaff for time tracking, and dropbox for sharing files.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week, good internet and no power issues.
I need someone who is capable of working on their own, as well as with our team here in the office, and other Philippines based VA’s.
We offer 13th month bonus, and two weeks off at Christmas. We’re looking for someone who want a permanent, full time position and who is ready to start work immediately.
