Video Editor

Om at home is a yoga-driven community platform that connects yoga enthusiasts all over the world and produces exclusive content for membership. We provide a myriad of content to aid yogic enthusiasts in their practice and spiritual journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will edit videos for Om At Home Instagram accounts
• Will edit YouTube videos for Om At Home YouTube accounts
• Will be required to present new video ideas for Om At Home on a weekly basis to upper management
• Must understand story structure, building on a progression of ideas and crescendos in both short (60 seconds) and long video format

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be passionate about social media video (Instagram and YouTube)
• Must have access to own computer with applicable video editing software
• Must have a reliable internet connection, smart phone, Gmail account and social media (An Active Instagram account)
• Knowledge and access to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier or Avid Media Composer
• Experience with Color Correction, Sound Editing, Text Editing and Graphic Design in videos
• Knowledge and access to Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge and access to VFX Software (After Effects, Nuke, etc)
• Comfortable working remotely and independently on projects
• Ability to write concisely and with a strong voice, with minimal typos.
• Availability of at least 40 hours a week
• Must have a passion and an open mind towards yoga, health, and spirituality
• Must be comfortable dealing with short deadlines, revisions and possible 48-hour turnaround times
• Must pay extreme attention to detail



Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
• Video editing: 1 year Minimum

• English (Required)
