JOB OVERVIEW

Rare Necessity Brand Management is looking for a talented, skilled and organized project manager to join our growing company! As a member of the our team, you will be an essential part of the overall strategy that drives our business forward.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. The project manager’s primary responsibility is to coordinate people and processes to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The project manager also serves as the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization, resources and ---------- SENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serves as the project manager for the marketing department by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues utilizing the company’s designated project management system
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual job duties, strengths, skill sets and experience levels
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with other staff members
Assist with the management of daily operational activities.
Performs administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and appointments, creating company newsletters, and documenting campaign briefs, reports and/or summaries, etc.
Coordinates the proper allocation of human resources during special projects and company events
Manages the company’s project management software
Performs routine maintenance checks and makes updates to a variety of softwares and online systems used in the day-to-day operations of the company
Assists with the research and implementation of new systems and technology
Assist with plannings and organizing conferences, events, staff training and company content production days
Work with team leaders, managers and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals
Assists management with observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
Works with management to identify and resolve any problems in various company processes
Assists management with designing and maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations
Delivers reports to department heads, management teams and executive leadership to provide insight into the overall efficiency of the organization
Collaborates with management and executives to set departmental and organization-wide goals
Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with company values
Serves as a brand champion for the Rare Necessity and Marketing by Monrae brands
Performs other job related duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

High School Diploma or GED AND 5-7 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business, communications or a related field AND 3-5 years of work experience in a project management position
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Slack, Trello, or a similar platform
Ability to work and communicate with a team in an online collaboration platform.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on several initiatives simultaneously within compressed time frames, while still maintaining effectiveness
Must have proficient computer and technical skills
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and work proactively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
Effective rapport-building and relationship management skills
Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, innovative and creative
Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and problem solving skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

2-3 years of leadership experience managing a team of at least 2-5 direct reports
Valid PMP Certification or other project management certification
Understanding of popular social media platforms, emerging networks, and apps.
A solid understanding of the entire creative development and marketing process.
Event planning experience
