Hard skills include:

Strong in Wordpress, with Shopify Development Experience a big plus
Passionate about programming and producing high quality work
WHMCS experience is a must
Experience in building and maintaining WordPress CMS plugins
Ecommerce development experience and working with various payment gateways.
Strong knowledge of web security best practice
Highly proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and SQL.
Experience using Bootstrap, Flex and Grids.
Experience in managing website, domain hosting, WHM configuration and DNS
An understanding of browser performance constraints and how to mitigate them, such as; optimisation, tuning/page weight, resource loading and caching
Responsive design, and woking knowledge of best practices for UI and UX, especially in an eCommerce context.
Experience with GitHub/Version Control

Desirable skills:

Experience on projects involving tech startups
A background in working in an agency or similarly fast-paced, results driven environment
Design skills around Adobe Creative Suite
Good understanding of SEO concepts in regards to page performance, in particular around Web Core Vitals
Working knowledge of Google products such as GTM, GA, GSC and Mobile First best practices
