We now have new headquarters located in Arlington, Texas and have an exciting opportunity for an SEO Assistant to join the team. (and you can live anywhere in the world!).

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
This is a contract position in the Thrive Digital Marketing Team. This position will manage and perform all assigned SEO and digital marketing tasks. We often have many projects running at the same time so this person will need to love a rapidly changing environment and be able to stay on top of shifting schedules, changing expectations, and the juggling of resources.


HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Thrive Team Collaboration: Ongoing communication with SEO team and within your SEO pod on tasks, timelines, and results. Will participate in daily update meetings with the Pod manager, and work efficiently on assigned tasks by the SEO Strategist or SEO Specialist.

Thrive Project Management: Using the project management tool, assess each client’s project task status and progress weekly to keep up to date on open action items. Be flexible and able to take on other tasks or projects that may be needed with a small team

Thrive Team Collaboration: Will need to communicate rapidly and effectively with all parties involved in ---------- et or exceed task deadlines and budgeted hours. If deadlines or budgeted hours will not be met, communication with the team is expected before the fact.

Job Skills Development: Will be expected to have a drive to continually learn and grow in knowledge and skill of Digital Marketing. Will be expected to follow leading blogs and other resources to stay on the cutting edge.

Work Hours: Contractor should plan for enough work for 8 hours a day and hit a billable goal of 7 hours per day. The contractor will be available to the pod manager and specialists between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CST.

Billable Hours: Expected to keep accurate track of billable hours with detailed notes on all tasks billed in Thrive’s TeamWork application. (Focused and efficient work is expected)

Work Location: Thrive expects contractors to have a quiet and dedicated workspace free from distractions and interruptions. The Contractor must provide his/her own high speed Internet, computer and any office furniture/supplies.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
6-12 months minimum SEO experience
Experience with Google Analytics, Tag manager, Ahrefs, SEMRush or other SEO tools is preferred
Willingness to learn new Content Management Systems and SEO tools
Experience in other digital marketing facets are a plus (PPC, Amazon, CRO, Social Media)
Google Certifications are a plus
