Figma Expert – UI/UX Design

You will both pioneer and own our UX strategy, establishing design principles and components to consistently deliver high value digital experiences that convert to measurable ---------- itially focussed on one of our upcoming projects, you will be working across responsive websites, mobile apps, user interfaces, building an online community, and assisting with the development of other digital products, services and content.

Primary skillsets required:
o Create user-flows and wireframes to map out and proposed product design features
o Prototyping
o Translation of concepts and user-stories
o Excellent communication skills required to collaborate transparently across a multidisciplinary team
o Liaise with stakeholders and developers to articulating user requirements
o Document user-stories
o Document design deliverables
o Be fluent in best-practice for interface design
o Deliver user-friendly and conversion-focussed interface solution
o Collaborate on the scope of work for graphic designers
o Define the visual design framework
o Work directly with Developers on asset library and theme selections to minimise graphic designer involvement
o Experience with agile project management
o Conduct user research and A/B testing
o Work with digital marketing on landing pages and campaign content
o Work with frontend and backend engineers/developers to design information architectures, services, and components
o Provide guidance and technical leadership to other tea ---------- mbers
o Champion technical best practices
o Write documentation and usage guidelines that teach developers/engineers how to use components and patterns across design and code


Software competencies required/desired:
o Advise on plugins and applications as required
o Figma (high-intermediate/expert level ability)
o Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
o WordPress
o Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
o Knowledge of data analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics)


Qualifications
o Either:
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Proven certification and training in the requisite skillsets and software competencies
o At least 3 years of experience in the field
