Automotive Service Advisor

We're an automotive repair facility that is looking for someone knowledgeable with automobiles to assist us by working remotely with our repair team. Your job would be analyzing digital vehicle inspections performed in our shop, estimating repairs and sourcing parts from our online suppliers required for repairs.

You would be using our shop management platform to gather information entered by our technicians, and you would be viewing digital photos of the parts and areas needing repair, along with brief descriptions of the areas of concern. We'd expect you to read our inspections, and then look up the proper repair procedure in the provided labour guide, and then look up the necessary replacement parts on our wholesale parts distributor's website.

Some parts would require phone calls to distributors, dealerships and other businesses, as well as researching possible vendors from online sources such as eBay, google, and anywhere else we can source the needed parts.

We offer training for the right candidate to improve their knowledge of automobile service and parts, but it is necessary you already have some understanding of the parts and repair processes.

Good English and grammar skills would be ideal for formatting and spell checking the inspection results so we can present them to customers in a professional looking format.

This position would require working during North American time zone, 8-5 EST.
