Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Contract, Home Based)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop maintainable Ruby on Rails back-end applications.
* Design and implement RESTful/ GraphQL API.
* Work closely with Product Manager to gather requirements.
* Collaborate with UX/UI designer.
* Meet deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

* 3+years experience programming with Ruby on Rails
* Bachelor's/ College Degree in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent
* Working knowledge of Test-Driven Design with RSpec, Capybara and Cucumber
* Experience working with Amazon Web Services
* Postgreql or Mysql experience
* HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript experience a bonus
* Experience using Git repositories
* Deploying applications using Capistrano, Heroku or AWS Elastic Beanstalk
