Web Developer

The Web Developer is responsible for the design and development of client websites. The designer will work with Web Designers, Developers & Clients to create aesthetically pleasing, fully functioning websites.

Best practices and design trends will be utilised to ensure the success of the projects. They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as, but not limited to, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, ---------- VELOPER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Designs and populates advanced/custom Websites, Mobile Websites and Landing Pages.
-Develops approved design according to best practices in WordPress CMS.
--Works directly with Designers and Project Managers to design the overall look and feel of websites.
--Follows a set timeline/schedule for requirements and provides meaningful progress updates.
--Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.
--Effectively manages all projects assigned by the manager and/or coordinators.
--Performs other related duties as ---------- CATION/EXPERIENCE:
--Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Web Development, Programming, or equivalent experience is required.
--Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of web design experience and a portfolio readily available.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
--The incumbent/candidate must be detail-oriented, well organised, and self-motivated.
--The incumbent/candidate must have knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop, WordPress and best practice plugins and themes (Genesis, Beaver Builder)
--Sketch, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL experience is preferred but not mandatory.
--Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.
--Must have strong creative, technical and analytical skills.
--Must possess excellent communication skills in both technical and business environments.
--The Web Developer will also be responsible for providing progress updates to the team. Best practices, scope management, timeline management and client communication will be utilised to ensure the success of the projects. They will be required to have experience in understanding the clients’ requests within the scope of work, communicating ---------- SENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
