Video Editor + Social Media + Marketing

Hi! My name is Andrew Plan. I'm a singer-songwriter and Twitch streamer looking to grow my online audience. I'm looking for a talented video editor who also enjoys the music I make, because in this job, you're going to be hearing a lot of it ;)

Below are the expected roles and responsibilities for the video editor.

• Team member is expected to produce and upload to Google Drive the following by Friday 5 PM Central every week:
- (2) edited videos for YouTube, at least 3 minutes in length
- (5) edited and captioned videos for Instagram and Facebook
- (5) edited and captioned videos for TikTok
- A text file with 30 YouTube/Instagram/TikTok hashtags for each video

• Editing the videos involves the following:
- Downloading recordings of Twitch livestreams from Google Drive (3-5 hour recordings, 3-4 GB in size)
- Scanning through each livestream recording and making smaller clips of the most memorable moments. I will provide you with some direction with timestamps, but I also want you to use your creative instincts in identifying memorable moments.
- Adding clean-looking captions to the Instagram/Facebook/YouTube clips
- Uploading the clips to Google Drive

• There is not an expected amount of hours the team member must work per week. Team member can work less than 20 hours per week as long as the deliverables are up and ready by the deadline each week.

• Twitch livestream recordings and a list of timestamps roughly corresponding to memorable moments will be provided to the team member at least 7 days ahead of the deadline.

• I am expecting this to be a long-term working relationship. It’s a permanent, stable job.

• As the business grows, there will be opportunities for a pay increase and full-time work depending on how much profit the business makes.

• Pay is $150 per month. Payday will be on the 15th and the last day of the month (28th, 30th, or 31st).

- $75 on the (28th, 30th, or 31st)

• You may take off whatever personal time you need (family emergency, child’s school events, or vacation) just as long as you let me know at least two weeks in advance. Or you can also do additional work ahead of time if you need to take off on certain weeks.
