Test Specialist

Review and analyze system specifications
? Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
? Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
? Evaluate product code according to specifications
? Create logs to document testing phases and defects
? Report bugs and errors to development teams
? Help troubleshoot issues
? Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
? Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software
development lifecycle
? User acceptance testing
? End to end testing
? Automated scripting - CSS, Javascript, HTML, Xpath
? Use tools like Endtest
? Jira
? Blackbox testing

General Skills and Experience:

? Minimum 3 years web application testing experience and proven experience
across the testing lifecycle
? Proven ability to write formal test cases, using pertinent test techniques
? Experience in web-based applications and technologies.
? Hands-on testing experience in business-related applications.
? The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers and
designers.
? Experience in using automated testing tools, especially with regression
testing
? Experience with requirement and gap analysis
Soft skills (very important):
? Highly organized with good time & task management skills.
? Able to multi-task and maintain a flexible approach to managing priorities
? Self-motivated, self-starter, passionate about quality, can think out of the box
? Excellent communicator and Team player

Duties:
? Prepare test designs, test cases, test data and other testing assets
? Performing System, System Integration, End-to-End and Deployment testing
? Executing tests, logging test results and following up defects through to
resolution
? Ensure application changes meet both specification and customer journey
requirements
? Close collaborating with Product Manager, BA and SMEs to clarify scope and
requirements.
? Leverage automated for critical path and regression testing
? Adhere to organizational Testing Quality Standards and Procedures
