JOB OVERVIEW

DETAILS:
A training organization based in Brisbane, Australia is seeking an individual to come in as a HEADHUNTER/RECRUITER.
Their role will fall into three broad parts:

1. Develop and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates for certain positions - in particular, remote trainers and technical staff
2. Handle the recruitment process from beginning until the end
3. Handle the process of discontinuing employment of candidates including exit surveys, finalizing exit checklists etc

We are searching for a full-time candidate who can work from 9 am to 5 pm, Brisbane, Australia time from Monday to Friday. The contract will be for a full calendar year starting on the 2nd of August 2021


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Headhunting and Recruitment
1. Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for particular critical roles both within Australia (virtually) and overseas (virtually and in-person)
2. Liaising with Apex management to understand immediate and longer-term recruitment needs
3. Crafting job advertisements to use in various in-person and virtual/outsourcing channels from around the world
4. Using multiple sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates for roles including in-person and virtual staff/offshore personnel
5. Taking job candidates through the entire recruitment process including interviews, technical interviews and reference checks
6. Ensuring all contracts issued to all incoming personnel comply with laws and regulations of Australia and the country the team member is being recruited from
7. Ensuring that our contracts are always up to date regarding relevant laws, rules and regulations
8. Serve as the contact person for job candidates
9. Selecting candidates who are suitable for particular roles
10. Selecting candidates who represent the culture of the organization
11. Selecting candidates who will build the diversity of the organization
12. Select personnel who are most cost-efficient for the organization
13. Collaborating with management and other staff to constantly improve the speed, effectiveness and efficiency of our recruitment process

Employment Discontinuation
1. Once an employee has resigned or discontinued employment, oversee the process of discontinuing their employment and transitioning to a new employee including exit survey, password changes or handovers, final salary etc
2. Collaborating with management and other staff to constantly improve the speed, effectiveness and efficiency of the employment discontinuation process

Legal
1. Ensure all our relevant policies and procedures are compliant with laws and regulations of the multiple nations that our staff work from and especially Australia
2. Ensure our human resource policies and procedures bolster our culturally and physically diverse workforce, support them and maximise the staff and their output

Miscellaneous
1. Meet deadlines and KPIs associated with your role as required and agreed to with Apex management
2. Assist with search for and implementation of web-based HR management software to increase efficiency and effectiveness
3. Collaborate with Apex management to ensure the continued success and growth of Apex Training Institute, its management, stakeholders and staff
4. Other human resource projects and tasks as required by management


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Minimum of 3+ years recruitment in headhunting and/or recruitment
-Prior experience working across multiple countries and in multicultural contexts will be looked on favourably
-Experience in recruiting for virtual roles will be looked on extremely favourably
-Any qualifications or experience based in Australia will be looked on very favourably
-Qualifications related to headhunting, recruitment, human resources or human resource management
-Demonstrated knowledge of Australian or Queensland HR laws will be looked on favourably
