Digital Content Editor

We're an e-commerce company hiring for a Digital Content/Video Editor who can manage all our creative projects from photo editing to video creation. We’re looking for someone who can create engaging content for viewers across all social media platform. We sell travel bags and accessories. You'll be working closely with the Co-Founders of the company.

HOURS:
10 to 15 hours per week initially. Potential to transition to full-time (40 hours per week) in the future.

WORKING TIME ZONE:
Mostly flexible. Must be able to speak on Skype/Google Hangouts some mornings in USA EST & be reachable during the weekend if anything needs urgent attention ---------- PENSATION:
Compensation is starting at $6 USD per hour, depending on experience and skills with many opportunities to grow and increase pay.

KEY SKILLS:
-Excellent English
-Proficient in creating social media content (short-form video, graphics, GIFs)
-High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro/ Final Cut Pro, After Effects
-High proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
-Ideally experience with Canva also

DAILY & WEEKLY TASKS:
Video creation & editing
-Create social media videos from raw clips establishing a clear storyline and CTA
-Resize videos to fit the standard sizes across social media platforms (e.g. vertical videos for Instagram, IG Stories & IG Reels; horizontal videos for YouTube & website content)
-Create social media ads from influencer videos, cutting existing content and turning them into exciting ads that drive engagement
-Developing social media ads from imagery & videos that point out product features & ways to use
-Creating GIF-like content from brand images

Photo editing
-Ability to professionally edit lifestyle images so the look & feel across shoots is standard
-Ability to use Photoshop to clean up brand images (e.g. fix creases on a bag)
-Ability to edit product colors (e.g. make zipper colors the same across bags)
