OPS Manager (Work from Home)

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager for our company to join our inspiring leadership team. You will have to take strategic decisions regarding the IT department, keeping in mind the welfare of the organization. To succeed in this position you must also keep a check on the performance of the system and suggest improvements if needed. You should encourage good IT culture and best business practices. To become an ideal candidate you should have extensive knowledge of the system security, IT operation management system and network administration.


Responsibilities:
• Oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of an organization’s information technology (IT) department, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely
• Lead teams that develop and implement networks and servers, respond to user help desk requests, and monitor system stability and performance.
• Provides guidance and leadership to the IT department and its technicians, but also directly supports end users by handling escalations, resolving user issues, and monitoring the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues.
• Oversee data backup and system security operations
• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
• Develop strong IT policies, its proper implementation and execution

Qualifications:
• Working experience in IT Operation Management or other related leadership roles.
• Working experience with system installation, configuration and analysis
• Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
• Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to help them communicate with both executives and employees in order to create and administer policies
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field

Requirements:
• Physical Resources: Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting; with at least 3Mbps internet speed and with a running MS Office application (2013/2016) installed
• Active PayPal Account
• Current NBI clearance
