Senior Accountant—Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
>> Solid knowledge of Accounting (skill level 10 out of 10) with a minimum of 4 years of prior hands-on experience.
>> Prior CPA firm experience preferred.
>> Must be a licensed CPA in Phillippines.
>> Must have a certification of English C2(Advanced/Mastery) language knowledge test (TOEFL or similar, if English is not 1st language.)
>> Must demonstrate excellent handle of US English, including usage, pronunciation, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
>> Intermediate knowledge of Cash Forecasting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis with a minimum of 2 years of prior hands-on experience.
>> Excellent speaking and writing in US English with prior hands-on experience in business communication.
>> Must demonstrate an ability to critically analyze complex accounting and business process scenarios and formulate a solution plan. Prior experience preferred.
>> Must be able to clearly communicate complex topics to teammates and clients in both spoken and written US English.
>> Must be very organized and have hands-on experience putting together professional presentations/documentation, financial reporting, and documenting SOPs.
>> Must be a self-starter, a team player, able to follow complex instructions.
>> Must be able to self-manage and timely deliver results on schedule for the assigned workload and projects, with minimal supervision.
>> Must be available remotely online during the 8am to 5pm US PST Monday - Friday. (No exceptions.)
>> Must be willing and capable to jump in and perform other duties dealing with administrative, customer service, and other hands-on accounting work, as needed.
>> Must be tech-savvy with online collaboration, accounting, and other business SaaS applications. (
>> Must have uninterrupted access to the high-speed internet and a dedicated and functioning PC workstation with webcam and microphone for regular online video communication.
>> Selected candidate will be required to successfully pass a full background check.
>> Selected candidate will be required to demonstrate the required skills and experience during the probation period of 90 days at 2/3 of the posted rate. After successfully completing the probation period the salary will be increased as posted.
